Event description
This engaging two-day workshop sought to bring together refugees with qualifications and skills, and representatives from diverse sectors including UNHCR and partners, banks, hotels, supermarkets, and local government councils.
The interactive sessions touched on crucial topics such as workforce integration, diversity and inclusion, and best practices for hiring refugees. The overarching goal being to foster dignified work environments that respect the rights and potential of all employees, paving the way for economic empowerment and sustainable livelihoods for refugees.

- National Commission for Refugee Migrant and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI) Representative (Mr. Akor Audu): Assured streamlined documentation processes and work permit issues. Assured the provision of automatic identity cards printing machine that will renew and instantly print ID cards for Refugees as all ID cards of Refugee in Nigeria were expired as at the time of the workshop
