Key Learnings and Conclusion:
This workshop served as a crucial stepping stone, equipping internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Bokkos with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate financial matters effectively.
A strong call is made for local, state, and federal governments to take a more proactive role. The development of a comprehensive reintegration plan is essential to empower IDPs and propel them towards rebuilding their lives and livelihoods. This plan should encompass not only financial literacy training but also material assistance, skills development programs, and psychosocial support services.
The Bokkos workshop underscores the potential of such programs to bring hope and positive change to the lives of displaced people. By implementing similar empowerment training programs in various regions, particularly those with high concentrations of displaced persons in the northern states, significant advancements can be made in alleviating their suffering and fostering a path towards a more secure and dignified future.
