Characteristics of a Good Project Idea:
The trainer outlined three key characteristics of a viable business project idea:
Accurate Formulation
The idea should be clearly defined and articulated in an infinite statement.
Meeting a Precise Need
The idea must address a specific need of potential customers, ensuring it has market relevance.
Market Testing
The idea should pass the 6CPF/10CPI test (6 Potential Favorable Customers/10 Potential Customers Surveyed), validating its potential success.
Stages of Maturation of a Project Idea
Participants were taken through the stages of maturing a business idea, which includes identifying solutions to problems, understanding the business environment, motivating factors, stakeholder satisfaction, and choosing the right location for the business.
Risks are inherent in entrepreneurship and can have both positive and negative impacts. Participants were explained the characteristics of risks, including their gravity, probability of occurrence, and the methods of handling them.
Effective risk management involves accurate planning, resource identification, qualitative and quantitative estimation, mastery and control, evaluation and communication, and follow-up.
